Regina Spektor ♥ The Calculation
You went into the kitchen cupboard
Got yourself another hour and gave
Half of it to me
We sat their looking at the faces
Of the strangers in the pages
Until we knew them mathematically
They were in our minds
Until forever
But we didn't mind
We didn't know better
So we made our own computer
Out of macaroni pieces
And it did our thinking
While we lived our lives
It counted up our feelings
And divided them up even
And it called our calculation
Perfect love
Didn't even know
That love was bigger
Didn't even know
Didn't even know that love was so, so
Hey hey hey hey
Hey this fire, hey this fire
I'm burning us up
Hey this fire, hey this fire
I'm burning us
Oh, oo oo oo, oo oo oo oo
So we made the hard decision
And we each made an incision
Past our muscles and our bones
Our hearts were little stones
Pulled 'em out they weren't beating
And we weren't even bleeding
As we lay them on our granite counter top
We beat 'em up against each other
We beat 'em up against each other
We struck 'em hard against each other
We struck 'em so hard, so hard til they sparked
Hey this fire, hey this fire
I'm burning us up
Hey this fire, hey this fire
I'm burning us up
Hey this fire, hey this fire
I'm burning us
Oh, oo oo oo, oo oo oo oo
Oo oo oo oo oo oo

Day 20 — A hobby of yours
Write. Write to be better. Write to tell. Write to enjoy the day. Write to scream the silence. Write everyday. Write beneath the moon. Write under the rain. Write loving the paper. Write and write to ourself. Write with a pen or with a keyboard. Write on an old book. Write and reread. Write and feel uncomfortable with it. Write without thinking. Write letting yourself be. Write and erase. Write and not show. Write to one or to all. Write for the time to pass quicker. Write in capital letters and without quoting. Write on a holiday. Write on the street or watching the sea. Write a phone number. Write expectations. Write lists. Write projects. Write fear and hopes. Write in the chair. Write on the floor. Write fast or slowly. Write for not to think. Think for not to write. Write to express feelings and let them down on a piece or paper. Write for breath(ing you) better. Write to feel the moving of the fingers. Write to feel the pleasure of the look. Write for and to you, just for that. Write.
Day 16 — A song that makes you cry (or nearly)
There're just SO many... But this one kicks the others's ass.
Day 15 — A fanfic
I don't read fanfics, sometimes I write them, but not really read, so... I guess this one will stay blank.
Day 12 — Whatever tickles your fancy
Hands - L.A
In front of the ocean
I kissed my baby once I heard her knockin'
At my heart door
'Cause I used to be there down the line
To be unbroken
More than words
And more than any other kind of connection
Is what we use
To tell each other what we had
Or wanted too
But if you wanna leave this town
Please take my hands
If you wanna leave this town..
More than words
And more than any other kind of confession
Is what we use
To tell each other what we had
Or wanted too
But if you wanna leave this town
Please take my hands
If you wanna leave this town
If you wanna leave this town
In front of the ocean
I kissed my baby once I heard her knockin'
But if you wanna leave this town
Please take my hands
If you wanna leave this town
If you wanna leave this town

Day 05 — Your favorite quote
It turned out I couldnt find only one, and they also changes all the time, just like my favorite song; so here are a couple of them:
'It’s funny how the colours of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on the screen.'
Alex DeLarge - A Clockwork Orange - Anthony Burgess
'You say they create their own reality,' said Veronika, 'but what is reality?'
Veronika Deklava - Veronika Decides To Die - Paulo Coelho
One person's craziness is another person's reality.

Day 04 — Your favorite book
Okay, when I was like, 7 years old, my granny bought me Alice in Wonderland and I love it, It happened to be my favorite book ever, 'till I read Wuthering Heights. Later on I read The Twilight Series, and after all, I fall in love with A Clockwork Orange. So, those are my favorite books.
Day 02 — Your favorite movie
William Miller: Do you have to be depressed to write a sad song? Do you have to be in love to write a love song? Is a song better when it really happened to you? Like "Love Thing," where did you write that and who was it about?
Russell Hammond: When did you get so professional?
Russell Hammond: And you can tell Rolling Stone magazine that my last words were... I'm on drugs!
[crowd cheers]
William Miller: Russell! I think we should work on those last words!
Russell Hammond: I got it, I got it. Last words - I dig music.
[a few claps]
Russell Hammond: [beat]
Russell Hammond: I'm on drugs!
[crowd cheers]
Dick Roswell: Ladies and Gentelmen! The evening is over. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves and we'll see you all again in 1974. Good evening!
William Miller: I love you. And I'm about to boldly go where... many men have gone before.
Penny Lane: How old are you?
William Miller: Eighteen.
Penny Lane: Me too! How old are we really?
William Miller: Seventeen.
Penny Lane: Me too!
William Miller: Actually, I'm sixteen.
Penny Lane: Me too. Isn't it funny? The truth just sounds different.
William Miller: I'm fifteen.
Penny Lane: Never take it seriously, you never get hurt. Never get hurt, you can always have fun. And if you ever get lonely, you just go to the record store and visit all your friends.
Penny Lane: Call me if you need a rescue, we live in the same city.
William Miller: Sometimes I think I live in a different world.
Almost Famous ♥
Day 01 — Your favorite song
My favourite song changes everyday. It depends on what's happening on my life at that moment. I'm flexible, so one day can be 'Walking On Sunshine' from Katrina And The Waves, and the next one 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise)' from My Chemical Romance... but the one I completely enjoy and brightens my day every time I hear it, is 'Friday I'm In Love' from The Cure.
